My College Magazine + Analysis.

This is my magazine cover.
I think it appeals to students because its shows a typical student in a college environment and most other students will be able to relate to this. In turn, attracting them to purchase the magazine. Although the picture shows a student, I feel the colours I choose aren't relevant to a student magazine which was a bad choice on my behalf and hopefully I will learn from this when it comes to music magazine task. Also the cover doesn't show and features of student life which is seen as rebellious, but my cover I fairly organised but doesn't have much going on with it. But one positive is that the headlines on the cover are what things students will be interested in. This was because I conducted a questionnaire into what students wanted to see in a college magazine and most of things they wanted to see on it, are featured on the cover and contents page.






This is my contents page.
I think that this contents is fairly organised, but like this cover, it can seen as boring because they isn't much going on. The contents page is mainly writing unlike most magazines that will contain at least one picture. This is something that I could improve on when it comes to making the music magazine contents page. One positive is that the articles and features in the contents page relate to students. This was because I conducted a questionnaire into what students would like to see in a college magazine, and most of things they wanted appear in my contents page.
